A Web based Human Resources System for Health Sciences is
being developed by Information Technology Services at Health Sciences. This
system is envisioned to provide integrated access to Human Resources functions
and information at this campus. WebPRQ is the first module that enables users
to process Personnel Requisitions online using a valid login.

It will provide for a distributed front end to enable departments to enter
and access information electronically. It will interface and/or integrate
with the University Human Resources(PeopleSoft) and the New York Presbyterian Human Resources Systems to enable seamless processing of Personnel and Payroll.

This version has been designed specifically for Web
functionality using elements of EJB, CORBA, J2EE specifications. Currently the only requirement on your PC to
access this system is to have Internet Explorer 5.5 or a later version
installed and access to the Internet.
